Icloud storage for family

With the new icloud iPhoto library I'd like to purchase more storage through icloud once we hit our limit. My question is can I purchase it and share it with my wife? We have separate iCloud accounts. I'd rather not pay for two separate storages when we are storing the exact same photos. We really want all our pictures to sync up, how could we make this possible?

You can't share paid iCloud storage with another iCloud account

However, you could always just make a shares photo album and invite her to it
