I am on Android not Iphone. But I do have a 2014 mac mini I got recently. And I had a 2011 mini before that. And a 06 or 07 (I forget) before that So I have had I could for a long time. But never had a problem.

But a few days ago I got an automated call saying we noticed suspicious activity on your icloud account. I hung up and ignored it. The next morning I got a voice mail saying the same thing. Have not had any calls for few days now. But I have never even had any calls before in the past. Have they now started automated calls? Or is this a scam?

It's certainly a scam call. If you'd like to be sure there's not a problem, get the support phone number from Apple's website and call them directly.
