iCloud sync slow lately??

I've noticed email sync for iCloud seems to be slow last few days - I delete on my iPad2, but often doesn't show up as deleted on my iPhone4.

Calendar and contacts seem OK, but email is sometimes right on - other times very laggy.

I have issues with my outgoing email lately. I'm not sure why.

As an update to my comment above, I seem to have cured the iCloud email sync issue between my iPad2 and iPhone4, but I don't really understand what happened. Here's the link to that thread ...
