iCloud to sync iTunes music library?

Could I sync my music from iTunes on my iMac to my iPhone? Or even with other ways? I don't use wifi sync and never tried. The problem of USB sync is that's so slow because of local backup.
Any ideas?

You mean with Apple Music subscription my iPhone's local library will be automatically updated? Or it takes datas from iCloud store every time I would like to listen a song?

With an Apple Music subscription, all of the songs in your iTunes library, whether you bought them, or imported them from a CD, or stream them from Apple Music, are matched to songs in the iTunes Store (or uploaded to iCloud if no match can be found) and made available on all your devices.

If, for example, you delete a song from a playlist on your iPhone, this change will update on iTunes as well, without having to manually sync.

Each time you listen to a song, it will stream it from iCloud if it isn't already on your device. But you can manually download songs and whole playlists so that you can listen to them offline.

The feature is called iCloud Music Library and you can get it either through an Apple Music or an iTunes Match subscription. iTunes Match is a lot cheaper if you're happy only to access the songs you already have and continue to buy.

I want to try Apple Music but I don't want to sync or upload any songs from my Itunes account to the itunes music cloud library. Currently in the Preferences - general section the only option is to "show Apple Music features", I'm guessing I have to sign up with Apple Music to see the option of uploading music to Icloud music library.

But here is my question, once I sign up with Apple Music, won't it start uploading music automatically or does it give you the option to uncheck song library uploads before the process begins?

The other thing I can't figure out, if I use a different Apple ID, one that does not have any of my purchased itunes music, I still see my entire Itunes library (local to my Mac), so I guess the process is the same as using my ID associated with my purchases, I was hoping to use a different ID and it would offer an Itunes library that had none of my local files to 100 percent ensure nothing could be uploaded to the cloud.

Finally, I really just want to try Apple Music on an Apple TV, could I just sign on to the Apple TV with my secondary non Itunes purchased ID account, sign up with Apple Music, never use that account on my Mac itunes and that would achieve my original goal? Or does the original sign up process for Apple Music have to take place on my Mac?

You can use Apple Music and have the iCloud music library feature disabled.

Thanks except the option to uncheck Icloud music library is not available, so again will it offer that option before you are officially signed up?
