iCloud: Where is my music?

I was under the impression that I could individually download songs I wanted via iCloud onto my iPad. I can't find anywhere that shows my music in the cloud.

Although wireless syncing is working, I thought I'd be able to see my iTunes music from the cloud and download songs as I go/need to on my devices. Am I wrong?
