How will iCloud's Desktop & Documents Folders feature work for my situation?
To give you some background...
I have two machines: a Macbook Pro with 256GB and iMac with 256GB SSD + 1TB Hard Drive. When I installed a 256GB SSD to my iMac (because it originally didn't come with it), I've created symlinks in my home folder from my SSD to my 1TB hard drive in order to save space.
My question are...
1. If I turn on Desktop & Documents feature in my iMac, will it copy the documents files via my symlink that I've created to the new iCloud Desktop & Documents folder location?
2. Where exactly will it copy my Desktop & Documents to? Since my home folder lives in my SSD, will it transfer my Desktop & Documents files back to my SSD?
Let me know if any of this makes sense. Any help is appreciated.

- If so, will I need to change my home folder from the Advanced Options in the Users & Groups system preference to prevent this from happening?
- Will I run into any issues if I do switch it to a new home folder in my 1TB hard drive? (e.g. trouble logging in, lost files) or am I better off creating a new user and reconfiguring the home folder from a clean slate? (due to the amount symlinks that I have)
