I'm looking for an alternative to IconBuilder by IconFactory. I've used it and I'm really not fond of it. On my Windows machine at work, I've used IconWorkshop by Axialis and I love it. Simplicity is what I'm going for.
Here's the way that IconWorkshop works:
I create a PNG in whatever program I want (usually Photoshop) and I drop that into IconWorkshop.
IconWorkshop goes ahead and makes all the sizes for both Mac and Windows formats (ICO and ICNS) small all the way up to 512 (or 256 on Windows).
I can then replace any of these with a lower res version if I choose to. That's it. It's not a Photoshop set of Actions, but a full-out application. Can anyone suggest something similar I can use on my Mac at home?
