Icon name keeps changing back

I've been trying to rename the icon for my iPod Nano harddisk both through Get info and in Finder but the name keeps reverting back to the original (from "Nano HD" to "NANO HD". Any idea why it keeps happening? Thanks

Try changing it from iTunes.

Thanks for the reply but the name in iTunes is different to the icon name (in iTunes my iPod is called Vazza's iPod)

BTW just to clarify...I've allowed the Nano to be used as a hardisk (so it's on my desktop all the time and I have to manually disconnect each time).

It may be that it's in FAT format. Labels always revert to uppercase with FAT volumes.

Ah, yes it's in FAT 32...so if I reformat it to an Apple Journaled format, it should work ok, right? Thanks in advance
