I've been having problems uploading new icons. I know the process, but one thing stands in my way, as shown in this picture

I hit cmd-j to show all icons, yet when I want to copy it, the get-info tab just shows the icon as the default png / jpg / gif etc picture, and not the actual image. Is there a way to fix this?

Okay, try pasting the following into Terminal. It'll ask you for an administrator password.

Code:
sudo periodic daily weekly monthly

Didn't work either, still getting the default png image. Makes no sense to me either, since the icon is clearly displayed in previews. It's been like this for as long as I can remember, it's like I accidentally changed a setting somewhere one day.

Where did you get the icons? I'll try to download them to see if there's something quirky in the files. 🙂
