Can you link me to that?

Also to above, yes I did try the icon masks and they worked well but what I was getting across is that people don't need to be insecure about making icons :p

I wouldn't care! I would just want something that looks like it, not even that good :D

i dont know if i can drop the link here, without getting any problem or some like that

Anyone done any Spotify or Google+ icons yet? Also looking for some cool weather, maps, photos ones.

Linking to deviantArt isn't a problem. Many of us do it, and I think we'd be interested in seeing what you found.

Another theme to consider if you like Upojenie is Edius HD. It's also over on MacThemes, and there are more icons already made up for it, plus more people still actively theming for it. It's another dimensional theme, though the bevel on the icons is a bit shorter, and the original icons have a similar graphic feel to them to the Upojenie set.

LOL--thanks! And I promise I will when they're done--been spending all my spare time on that set the last two days. Getting a bit weary of white and grey! :D

Would anyone be kind to share a phone icon that has a similar style as this icon, maybe from the same theme? ( I'm hoping it's from a theme with a matching phone and SMS icon.)

The main link to the set I created was posted about a month ago in the Homescreen thread--it ultimately ended up under the name Edius Bleached to differentiate it from Trent's work, which he graciously did allow me to include. But for those who haven't seen it yet, the download for it is here.

Rather than add to the chaos over on that thread, LOL, I figured I'd post an update here.

A few new Bleached icons I'm using; they'll need to be renamed & bundled appropriately for your apps. As with the others, if you want all black and white versions, just run them through a black and white conversion filter in your favorite photo editing software.

From left to right: 1Password, Atomic Browser, Audible, Kindle, any Tasks app.

Nice sharp looking icons.

Great thread with a lot of info. I am composing my own personal theme and having a blast doing so. One question, however.

Everyone is stating that these should be around the 118x120 size.

That is gigantic on my iPhone4. I've had to shrink everything down to 65x65 just for it to fit normally, and even then it is a tad too large for a 5 row dock.... Why is it like that for me?

For the iPhone 4, 118x120 is the correct size for Cydia and system apps, 114x114 is correct for apps from the App Store. In both cases, when correctly bundled, they will resize appropriately for the iPhone 4 when you use Winterboard.

The catch is "when bundled correctly". This means you need a folder in your theme titled "Bundles", with a folder for each app. Those folders need to be named with the correct bundle identifier for that app, and must contain a correctly titled app icon (properly capitalized/punctuated as needed). While many apps use a variant of icon@2x.png for the icon name, they aren't all that way.

So for example, the Kindle app icon I posted above needs to be named "icon-114.png" (without the quotes), and placed into a folder titled "com.amazon.Lassen" (again, without quotes) in a theme's Bundles folder.

Icon names and bundle identifiers can be most easily found using the free Cydia app AppInfo.

I see.. That makes perfect sense.

What I did was copied a ready-made theme that I was already using, looked at how it was setup and then to work in Photoshop. Problem? The ready-made theme was done incorrectly! LOL

The way I've been doing it is just basically replacing the icons with the .png's that I want and naming them accordingly to replace the icons. Phone, Messages, etc.

Is there any harm in doing it this way?

Been re-doing my theme the correct way, having a blast too. I didn't come across any Twitter icons that I liked, so I put one together. If this one is posted then I missed it.

Lets get this thread back going again! Anyone know where to download some bundles from that I can look through?
