Amazing. Please keep posting more. I keep adding more and more to my collection.

I've got most of mine from icon packs posted on Macthemes, and some here.

Does anyone know how to remove the "square shadow" under an icon? I have a FB icon that has a dark black background behind the icon, trying to make that transparent so all you see is the actual icon.

Folder names for icons

Hi all...I have a quick question about editing icons. I would like to make a few original icons, but I do not know where to look for folder titles. For instance, I know that certain folders have certain names for the bundles folder like com.apple.weather or com.pandora, but where do I find out the names of folders for some of the lesser known apps. For instance, I have a Re remote app I would like to customize and a Starbucks Gold Card app which is different from my other Starbucks app. I have been successful in changing many of the more mainstream apps because of the great advice on this forum...hoping someone might be able to send me in the right direction. Thanks!!

1. Download sb settings from Cydia. This will give you strings to your installed apps. Go to more, then at the bottom of the menu choose app folders. This will give you where to go in ssh. I use ifile right on the device.

2. Find the whateverapplication.app file and look in it for the file called info.plist then open that up and view the text, look for a line that says <key>CFBundleIdentifier</key>. Directly under that it will give you the name of the folder as it should be named in your bundles file in the theme. For example, for my app "NewsJunkie", it would be com.stevelparker.newsjunkie

3. Place the icon file in that folder and name it just as it is names in that .app. Probably icon@2x.png if you have a iP4. Sometimes they require a capital "I"

I love this thread!

Does anyone have any Calendar icons other than the two that have been posted so far?

Also a new Photos icon would be awesome... Not a fan of the stock flower one (doesn't make any sense). I like the one that was posted earlier with the different photos stacked, except the wooden background. Just curious to see what else is out there!

Might as well ask in this thread, there are two icons I'm looking for, a notes icon and a mail icon, thanks in advance..

^^^^^ Thanks for the mail icons, they look great.

Shouldnt they be 118x120 sized though ?

Its 114x114 for app store icons and 118x120 for cydia and apple default system apps.

cheers

Yeah, they should be that size. These are from the Round3 theme and all of the icons seem to be that size by default  I just left them as is.

These aren't perfect but I'm looking for items other than the basic ones.

Opera, Yelp and Revision 3

Can anyone help me out with ways to make these?
I'm not doing very good with the shape, the corners mostly. Is there a way to design the icon and then 'cut' the right shape out?

Looking for this App Store icon.

And this Settings:

I saw that settings icon in a screenshot but don't know where its from, its very nice though.
These are not the original just cutouts if you want to use until you find the real ones.

EDIT: @Drag'nGT, let me know what images you want cut out and I will make them into icon shape, also let me know if they are appstore or default.

^ I just made that Yelp icon (red one) and the phone put that half crescent shine on it.

How do you get rid of that?
