I'm wondering if someone could help me. I'm trying to change my iFile icon and it isn't working. I overwrote the image as Icon.png, it overwrote fine but the icon isn't changing. Is there something else i need to change to change the iFile icon?

Hey Aussie,

What I do is just one main folder and within that folder I have folders for every app, for example 1 main folder - containing maps folder, camera folder, bla bla bla and the icons in the folder I just call them maps@2x.png and maps1@2x.png so on....does that make sense?

Well, when you have as many icons as I do, you kinda have to rename them individually. I have folders setup for each type of icon, i.e. Safari, Phone, SMS, etc., and I named each icon for what the icon looks like. Simply naming them phoneicon1, phoneicon2, etc., works but my naming structure lets me know what it looks like without needing a preview or anything. You can name them whatever way works for you but this is just how I do it I've attached some screenies of how my folders are setup and what my phone icons look like. Hope this helps

NOTE: This folder is just my miscellaneous icons folder. This doesn't include all the Anbu, Genesis, Glasklart, etc icons as those get their own folders. Yeah, I probably need some professional help for this :/

Haha, NEVER! I've admitted, and accepted, my condition. That is good enough is my book. Once my collection starts getting into the terabyte range then, maybe, I'll revisit the help situation

Nah, it's good to have a large collection of icons. I'm always changing something here and there.

Thanks guys .... that has been very helpful .... i have started to do a similiar thing with all the themes that i have > prev i just had them all on the phone (about 50 of them ) now i have started storing them on my comp in well structured and named folders with a pic preview in every folder so i know what it looks like ... your advice has been helpful .... i will get cracking on setting things up as you have both suggested for my icons as soon as i finish filing my themes and save these icons in a more productive fashion ...

the advice is greatly appreciated and will be very helpful ...
