Hi guys, I've been having this problem ever since I upgraded to Leopard back in November.
I keep an Excel file that I use as a checkbook. Since I have to have quick access to it all the time, I keep an alias of it on the right side of the dock.
Since I am sort of anal about the way my desktop/dock looks, I use a money icon to indicate this particular excel file. However, no matter how often I do this, the icon only lasts a few days (sometimes as much as a week) before it reverts to the ugly old Microsoft Excel icon (the folded paper with the green bar across the top).
I have used CandyBar and I have also copied-and-pasted the icon, but no matter what I try, it keeps reverting after a while. Does anyone have a way to make it stop reverting?
Actually....I just went to the folder where I keep the excel file, and it seems that it has also reverted, so...both the alias and the file itself revert to the default icon after a while.
