No suprised....this will happen alot, and does with iPods. Apple will ignore it, or sue. Although it no real threat to the iPhone so it seems like a small deal IMO

Thats funny, it looks kind of like a XV6700 with the 4 buttons on the bottom. I wonder if it has similar features to the iphone. Probably not multitouch but maybe it has the proximity sensors and wide screen mode like the iPhone. I think Apple should be flattered that these other over seas companies are trying to copy their design. I doubt Apple will lose business.

Well, there was a french auction for an iPhone recently too. Seems to me an overseas (china) phone manufacturer reshelled and reskinned an existing design and is putting these things out.

Not nesscesarily. Most people only have a vague idea of what the iPhone looks like. This could seem very real to them.

    It's 458 USD (according to OS X Calculator.app ;) ).
And the complete translation goes like this:

    Hello,
    Iphone mobile to sell

    It's not Apple product
it's made by another company competing in the Iphone generation market.

This phone has the same specifications as the original Apple Iphone.

The same system - Mac OS X.

As a novelty this device does not have any keyboard -- iPhone uses touch-screen instead,
with Multi-Touch technology. You don't use anything but your fingers. The screen goes off
when you move the phone closer to your ear, there's also 3,5 inch screen with 320x480 resolution,
it automatically changes the image orientation. You may listen to mp3, watch mpeg movies
and take pictures with 2Mpix camera. Songs and movies can be added in the same way,
as in iPod, using iTunes. IPhone supports wireless internet connection (Wi-Fi) and website
    browsing with Safari.

The most interesting thing in iPhone is the operating system - mobile version of OS X.
You may open applications for the "full" version of this system.
So you get personal computer at a size of palmtop. Nice.

    English Menu

    10 pieces available

    New in Original Packaging

    No Simlock

It's pity the guy closed his auction ;)
BTW "Iphone generation market" rocks :D

That phone in the auction CLEARLY has many buttons, unlike the actual iPhone.

I know exactly the type of person that would buy this fake iPhone, try and insist to me that it's real, then get mad at me when I don't "believe" him and explain to him why it's not an iPhone but rather fake, and isn't like the real iPhone at all.

    He's Polish too.

Wow a fake iPhone for only $450! I'd be all over that if I lived in Poland.

I wonder if it even works.

Hate to bust your bubble - but they let Polish people have Macs - at least here in the USA...

Thanks for the translations G7 - I know a few words and a phrase that my grandma taught me in Polish, all phonetic.

Gin Kweja(Spelled wrong, I'm sure - "thank you")
