I mean 1199 for an OLED display and 16GB of ram is pretty impressive. I wonder if Apple will ever let you pick the storage and RAM separately on iPad like you can on the Mac and carry 3 or 4 most popular configurations at the store.

The iPad is pretty much glued together so BTO might be more difficult to implement for iPads compared to Macs.

Agreed. There's not that much need for 16GB of RAM in an iPad. Maybe helps with multitasking, but then again, it's not really all that easy to multitask that many apps on iPadOS. And even then, who cares if your PowerPoint or Keynote file gets written out to VM then paged back in when you switch back to it. The delay in resuming will be 10ths of a second at worst.

I would. IPadOS isn't for everyone but I really like it. I'm losing hope that we'll see an upgraded 11" screen this year.

The current IPS display on 11" Pro is horribly outdated for a Pro model. Apple better have a mini led or better in store for next pro model.
