Idea for the facebook app.

Idea: I think it would be cool if we iPhone owners could use our new voice recorders, and record our status, then post it in our status on Facebook, then people could just play it and hear our thoughts in our voice.

Cut and paste from my facebook app, when I pasted it here, it looked fine. When it posted each space was an astrisk. I had to go back and delete them. Weird

stupid iPhone copy and paste.

It doesn't have to be limited to the app or the voice recorder, MackBooks come with microphones, so you could use those and the website.

Won't the change have to be with facebook to allow that kind of thing before the app can do it.

I don't use the voice memo app, since it's not really a feature I cared about, but when I checked it, it seems you can email the VM. So, all you'd need is a way for Facebook to accept the file from an email, correct?

There's an app called AudioBoo that will do this for you. It will post the link to your voice message on Facebook, twitter, and the free AudioBoo account.

AudioBoo in the iTunes Store, and it's free.

surely it would be possible for a developer to create a 3rd party facebook app? suppose it would take alot of time and effort and it might not be a success.
