Ok hear me out folks. I have an iPhone X and it is very slippery without a case. So slippery that it will slide itself out of shorts for example. A case combats this -but what if one doesn’t want a case?

What about coating the backside of the phone in a transparent “anti slippery” spray? The texture would change enough to make the phone stick in my pockets and don’t shatter on floor/ ground.

what do you think?

Interesting idea. Do you know of companies who make this?

First thing the comes to mind is getting a clear, non-slip skin for the phone, assuming you want the spray to preserve the iPhone aesthetic.

Yes I do! In EU this company came up. I know the US Amazon also have similar transparent sprays.

It would have to be clear, and only on the back side and the sides of the phone. The rest would have to be masked out.

One issue though is the toxicity of the spray. As kids tend to put phones in mouth and I have the phone in bed etc. I will have to look into that.

dbrand sells a variety of skins for the iPhone X and other iPhone models, in a variety of textures. They come with an Apple cutout, and can eventually be removed if you wanted. It's basically a high-quality sticker for the back of the phone. I have it on the bottom of my MacBook and love it!
