Ideas for config Mac Pro Hard drives

I just don't want to go through the hassle of mounting disk images, reinstalling programs and such. It's really laziness. If i set CCC to back up nightly it should only slow down my computer while it backs up correct and i should be able to set it to back up only things that i have changed
