That MASSIVE bar of wasted space above the Dock. Let me size down the icons just a tiny bit to get another row of icons on my Home Screen.

Yes. A big change to the OS would have been a continuation of the Home Screen adjustments started last last year* including sizing icons to fit the screen better. Not just offering a new aesthetic skin.

*And actually fixing what they started would be a nice thing too. Moving icons around to specific locations is like playing some sort of frustrating game.

That's how I have felt about App Library since it launched with iOS 14. They just said "good enough" and put it out and never touched it again. It's a pretty poor app drawer and needs some customization and options.

It would be a start to force devs to put the right category in their apps.
8 of my 78 apps are in "Other" - 3 gameapps, some other AND the journalapp from Apple!!

And while we are at it: force them to put a dark icon in their apps! Amazon, Booking.com, AliExpress...

I’d like the option to remove/hide the dock altogether.

The dock should be incorporated into Control Center. The App Library should be hidden and revealed with the search function.

That works! I don’t care, as long as I can turn that stupid dock completely off.
