idevice replacement at Apple Store with unofficial part?

Just wondering if anyone here has succeeded in getting their device replace even with a third party part such as the screen. I was trying to find some info online if there was ever such a case but no luck.

If your iOS device has a third party part in it or you want a third party part put into it, the Apple Store may refuse service/replacement of it.
