Note: I teach English in a Japanese high school.
I work with a teacher that is a huge jerk rather than an idiot. She's done a few things....
1. A couple of years ago she got into an arguement with a student and tried to flip over the chair the student was sitting on.
2. I tried to pass out a survey to students to get a better understanding of how my teaching was going. The students had no idea what was going on and this teacher refused to help explain the survey and then crumpled up a copy and threw it in the trash right in front of me.
3. She wasted time in class one day and made me apologize to the class for not having time for an activity.
4. And just recently, she changed the day of a class I was suppose to teach with her. Two minutes before class (on the original day) began she decided to change it back to that day. She said we couldn't keep it changed because the new date was the last day before finals and another teacher wanted the last class spent on reviewing for the final. Then how do you explain for the 4 other classes I teach that day.
Why do I keep trying to be nice to her?
