Cos if it can't, it's rubbish!

I've just joined mobile me and so copied my documents folder into iDisk. But when I edit a file or create a new one, iDisk doesn't update. Does this mean I now have to save all files twice?? Surely not...

try using internet-based disk only, try checking on system preferences under MobileMe, look at the iDisk tab for those options.

Use the free backup program that came with iDisk. I use Good Sync on my windows machine to backup my documents to the iDisk daily. You might also what to check out these threads:

EDIT: The backup program will put the files into a compressed archive that's not openly readable. Might want to just focus on syncing.
