hi. i'm trying to upload a rather large flash file (9MB) onto my iDisk but continually receive an error message. (other files load w/o a problem.)

is there a max size of files that can be uploaded, or does the problem lie elsewhere?

i'm grateful for your advice. g

problem uploading to idisk with finder...

Hello there,

Basically - it seems that the finder is not good at actually sending file any more that 5MB or so to iDisk. SO - this is very annoying - especially if you have discovered (as i have) if the finder decides to 'give up' you may well not see it working again properly for quite some time... i have had to restart my MBP quite a few times... UNTIL NOW - The solution is to go and download a very sexy little programme called 'Transmit'. You can get it for free of the apple website - enjoy:
