iDisk public folder

I just got the trial version of Mobileme. Not just to try it out but because I have a graphics project that needs delivery overseas. Obviously the fastest way to do this is online. But the project is 100+megs and growing andhardly any free online storage services accept files that big (zipping didn't help either)

Any way I got mobile setup and I password protected my public folder which has the project in it. I want to know I can allow others to access it.

I tried clicking on the link and it sends me to a page that wants a username and a password. I was expecting it to just be a password thing to access.

Ditch the password - allow everyone access to it but only allow them to read the files(Set the read-only option in Mac System Prefs) not read and write.

That means that you don't have to send out an email to all the people you want to access your iDisk.

They can download the files, but just cant upload their own!

If you use the password option do not give out your mobileme password.
