Just bought touchdraw because I wanted groups. My advice is don't buy it, and buy this app (iDraw) instead.

My only complaint is that it doesn't have groups, so you have to select shapes individually to move them. That's the only thing iDraw lacks.

Saladinos, thanks for the comments :) Good news, support for shape groups is (almost) here!

Earlier this week we submitted a significant update to iDraw that should be available in the next few days. This update adds shape groups and several other new features:

- Layer merging ('Merge Down' )
- Ability to lock shapes
- Ability to lock aspect ratio when resizing
- Pen tool snap to grid
- and more...

iDraw 1.0.7 also has a sleek new look! The tools toolbar has been redesigned with new icons and buttons, interface refinements were made across the entire app - and of course a shiny new app icon :)

Nice app. Any chance for transparency for text? I know this could be asking a lot, but what about masking and the ability to repeat an action?

You can indeed make text transparent by simply changing the text's fill color to a non-opaque color:

You can also outline text, fill text with gradients, or mask images to shapes and text.

Replicating actions and shapes is a great idea, and it's something we're planning for a future update. Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for the reply.

How do you mask? I'm not seeing it.

How do you move/position the image?
In the current version, images can be either scaled or stretched to fit inside the bounds of the masking shape. In a future update we intend to add the ability crop, rotate, and position the image fills.
