iDVD 7 won't open

I found another post. my bad. should of searched first. I deleted
com.apple.iDVD.plist

works now.

More deets please:

Did you just install it now, and it won't open, or have you opened it before?
Do other iLife apps open?
Try opening Disk Utility->Click your HD->Repair Disk

just quit perhaps it dont work?

its a new imac.

launched now, but I create a new project, save the name and the program quits. no errors

repaired permissions. still quitting when creating a project. repair disk is greyed out, cant click it

I didnt install, came on the new imac. other apps work. this is first time opening idvd

decided to call apple support. use my 90 days complimentary service.

the guy said iDVD not launching is a known issue. he had me delete all its file and custom install from the dvds. seems to work fine now.
