idvd burning problem

Hi Folks,

Hoping someone will be able to help me with my problem I am having with home videos I having been trying to put onto a dvd. I have converted them all in Imovie and now have placed them into an idvd. It looks great on my Mac book, but when I burn it...it comes out all black and white. I burned a dvd before in the same manner (so I thought) and didn't have a problem. Can anyone help? Thanks
Oh I am running Leopard 10.5.8 I believe
