iDVD does not work...

Hi, another issue...when i click on iDVD it pops up and dissapear...i have tried from the application folder directly but still the same thing?

Any recommendation? do you how to reinstall...

All this is quiet unacceptable for a brand new MBP

I haven't personally been following your threads and problems so I'm not sure if they're all related, but for this problem you might like to try deleting the preference file. It's called com.apple.iDVD.plist and can be found in your Preferences folder. 🙂

I am having the same exact problem, and I haven't had any other real problems with my new MBP. Haven't really installed any additional programs as well.

Look at the logs (Console app). It should tell you why it died/exited.

Essentially I deleted two folders (found them under my username).

Was annoying as I spent a lot of time (as MANY others did - see this thread: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=5170328), but happy that it has been 'figured out'...

i had the same problem. I ran the ilife installation disk again and installed iDVD.

Problem sorted
