iDVD error when burning

Hi,

when burning completed on my project (sent to iDVD from iMovie), I received an error 'Errors occurred during the burning process.'

When I put this in a DVD player, it plays for a minute.. jumps around and then stops.

I have successfully burned a movie on iDVD before.

I have removed some photos from iPhoto that featured in the movie. Could that have been the problem.. will I have to start from scratch to make it work?

It is iDVD 5.0.1

I'd say you can try to save as disc image first and then you give back some resources by quitting some programs and leave your computer alone when actually burning it.
You can also check the size of your image before burning and see if it fit your dvd

i made a .img of my movie.. now.. can i toast it? what's the procedure with burning a .img

toast it... maybe i never did that

but pop up your disk utilities, find your image and then either from menu or apple+B (i think... i don't have my mac in front of me) it prompt for inserting a dvd and here you go
