Odds are I posted this in the wrong place, But here we go.

I have made a slideshow using iDVD as it is (as far as I can tell) much easier than using Keynote. I have put in music and stuff like that. My problem is that I dont want to burn it to a CD. I would much rather e-mail it. Problem number 2 is that none of my friends own a mac. I need to figure out a way to send my iDVD project to a windows computer over e-mail. Am I just shooting blanks here?

So basically, you just have a slideshow you created in iDVD because it was easier than creating it though Keynote, and you want to export the slideshow to a movie format that you can email.

Is that what I'm hearing correctly? Well, good news and bad news. Let's start with the bad news. You can't export video from iDVD to a QuickTime movie format without doing some ridiculous converting that will take a ton of time and a lot of researching to explain.

The good news is that... have you tried using the slideshow maker in iPhoto? I mean, you'll have to remake your slideshow unfortunately, but iPhoto's ability to quickly put together and customize a slideshow is pretty decent.

Wow you definitely got it right! Am i able to sync up some music to the iphoto slideshow?

Yup, there's even an option to have it fit the length of the slideshow to the length of the song.

Setting it up should be pretty simple, but post back if you have any questions.
