idvd question.

Can I create a dvd presentation using idvd without having the option of burning it? In other words, can I just save my dvd presentation onto my laptop and view it from there?

I don't want to burn it onto an actual dvd, but I want to keep the presentation on my hard drive.

Yes. From iDVD File Menu, choose Save As Disc Image. You'll then be able to play that using DVD Player.
