iDVD question

i have a mac mini with a combo drive. would idvd work with an external dvd-rw drive?

if it does, should i buy it, or just network my pc and mini and transfer the movie over and burn it with my pc?

If starting w/either version 4 or 5 of iDVD you can choose to create a disk image. Once you create a disk image you can use burn to an external burner. You could also xfer the files to your PC and burn that way.

AFAIK it will not. But you can double check Apple's site to confirm.
