iDvd Question

Is there a way to check that iDvd sees my sony dvd burner (DRU-810a) ? 😕

I know toast titanium 7 does see it:


is there a way to find out if it does like the pic ? 😱

It should recognise it. Is Burn DVD greyed out in the File (or maybe the iDVD) Menu? If it is, then iDVD can't find a burner. 😱

Just did a capture of idvd file drop down selection:

Well, it recognises a DVD burner is there. Assuming you don't have an internal Superdrive, it's a pretty safe bet to say your external is that drive. 🙂

It's a internal sony dru-810a drive .. the ext drive would be $150.00; didn't wanna go that 'cause already spent $$ on processor card 😱 😱

Fair enough. Either way, it looks like iDVD recognises it. 🙂
