Does anyone know where exactly on the computer the iDVD themes are located, and if it would be possible to drag one out and into iPhoto say ?

Looked in Liabrary and application support and can find nothing.

Should have looked harder 😛

They are in /Library/Application Support/iDVD/Themes/. Pretty much where you'd expect. I can't imagine you can drag them into iPhoto. What would you expect that to do?

Edit to add: Holly thread resurrection Batman! A thread from 2005 😱

do you know whwere the quicktime components for imovie are located?

Quicktime is Quicktime: they're all in the same place.

Edit to add:

System components are in /System/Library/QuickTime/. Third part, system-wide, components are in /Library/QuickTime/

thanks and one last question. garage band says my loops arent installed, where do i need to put them as i have them from time machine

Apple loops should be in /Library/Audio/Apple Loops/

Note that this is the Library folder from the root of the drive, not your user Library.

If you don't have 2.5GB or so of loops in there, best thing to do is find your iLife disc and re-install it: under the custom install options you should be able to just check the Apple Loops box so it just installs what you want.
