iDVD w/ External DVD+R DL?

Hi Everyone,

I've done some searching around here and some digging on Google, but I've not managed to turn up any reliable sort of answer.

I'm working on an iDVD project right now that is quickly outgrowing the time limit iDVD imposes for a single DVD-R disc. Knowing that, I'm on the prowl for an external DVD+R DL (probably Sony's latest offering), but I'm hesitant.

Does anyone here have any experience w/ an external DVD+R DL drive and iDVD 5?

yes i have used lots - but the chepest one i ever used was a 5.25 caddy and a IDE DVD-RW DL i had to get some drivers off google for it to work - but it worked a treat

Hey -- I managed to get that easter egg installed and the dialog box to pop up. Now I just need to acquire the DL drive.

Thanks for the quick reply. Anyone advice (from anyone!) on drives to avoid?
