Is it possible to use mpegs to create DVDs on iDVD? this programme is a mystery to me 🙂

Any QuickTime readable file can go into iDVD, assuming I remember correctly.

iDVD will read any standard Quicktime format as noted by Mechcozmo, it will then encode it to the MPEG2 standard needed by the DVD.

The quality will obviously depend upon the original quality of your files.
