When viewing this page in IE7 I'm getting a strange band that appears under the "Programs and Ministries" section. I'm having trouble finding documentation of the issue. Has anyone seen this type of behavior and know of a fix/workaround?

Yes. Get firefox, safari or chrome. Or even opera. In fact, I think using IE5 would do a better job.

Don't waste people's time with worthless posts.

@OP
IE7 has issues with using the color "transparent." If you search on IE7 transparent background, you'll find a number of results.

The issue might actually be with the jpg because it does not fully render when viewed against a plain background image. If I take out that image, the background works fine. I'm not using background : transparent anywhere, so I doubt that's the issue.

EDIT: Strangely using float : right on the image instead of float:left seems to fix the issue. For the moment, I'm going to go with this fix, but understanding why this is happening is still important in case of future rendering issues.
