If a new iMac is released tommorow, will it be released here too?

Hey,

I'm from Australia and am curious to know that if a new iMac design is revealed, if it goes on sale immediately in Apple Stores to replace the current models, will it also happen in Australian Apple Stores, or will the new model (if there is indeed one coming) be released in a few months in Australia?

iMac for Aussies - within a week if new release happens

I spoke to a Myer reseller of Macs and he said that in the past they have received new models within a week or so of the US announcement.

So if there is a new release, then that's good news for the two of us 😀

i work for an apple reseller in australia, and i'm very much looking forward to the new imacs, which will probably arrive here within days (btw, "probably" guarantees absolutely nothing, i'm just guessing here).

it wouldn't be out of the question for us to have them by the end of the week.

Well It would be goo dif it comes out with in a week, but I'm most proborly getting my iMac in October, when Leopard comes out. 🙂

You can buy them straight away once the store goes back up. It will take a week to ship.
