Apple will most likely won't allow it but if they did, what case would you like to have?

Me: I would choose the Vapor

Also, anyone think that Apple would only allow cheap cases [silicon type] to be the other source of a free case??

They already allow you from a range of cases (bumpers and whatever else there is). They stated 3rd party cases can be chosen. Albeit, I am betting they will keep it to the $29 margin, anything above is on the user's pocket.

Edit - Oh by the way, that Vapor case is ugly... real ugly.

I agree on the Otterbox Defender, I'll also say it is not the greatest looking case out there. But for protection, you'll be hard pressed to find one that will offer more.

I plan to get one as soon as they are available.

I will pickup a bumper probably, but not use it. I hate cases on my iPhone, and as long as I hold it a little different I am fine. It will just take a little bit of time for me to get used to a different grip. :p

That Vapor case is something else. I may have to pick one up. I will get the best case that Apple allows me to.

Best Case out right now to me seems like the case-mate torque. I haven't used it, so I say that with a grain of salt. I've been checking it out a lot online for considered purchase, but will now wait it out to see what Apple offers up. I sincerely hope they have some good selections, and not ultra flimsy-last-a-week cases.

I don't care for the bumpers, given that they don't really protect the phone much at all if dropped (check youtube for the drop test if you haven't seen), but some will not care and insist that they are careful. I'm careful as well, but accidents happen :D

Of course no case is perfect, short of wrapping it in a pillow (that may kill the reception further though).

Yea, i seen the Otterbox Defender
Even tought, the protection it has is great, i just don't like the style

Hopefully the Incase slider will be available on Apple's website soon, and hopefully it will be a freebie option.
