Do you remember how long the PS2 was out without any upgrades? The PS2 is still going rather strong and they still release brand new games for it. It's such a good system.

If I'm not wrong, kingdom hearts re:com was released in november 08, which I am pretty sure every KH fan was waiting for it, which pretty much shows that PS2 even if its so old and crappy compared to the PS3 won't go obsolete. Hopefully its the same with the iPhone because it hasn't been that long to go bad...apple still sells the old white glossy imacs (the ones before the alum.).

I agree it is an awesome system.. But comparing the PS2 releases before PS3 was released and now is obviously a lot different.

It will most likely be the 2nd gen iPod Touch faster more stable but a similiar os. Will 3 do everything better yes will the 3g and 1st gen probley will with less graphics and at a slower rate. 1st gen might even not be upgraded at all just iphone 2.2.2 with an update to the App store.

what rock have u been living under?? they said the 1st gen would run 3.0 just not all the features (like MMS and stereo bluetooth)
