hey guys

we all like upgrades when it comes to new MacBooks, but we have to sell old ones as we(most of us) can't afford for everything.
Usually i sell my old MBPs to my friends but this year they have all my old mbps (havn't converted new ones 😉 )
Can anyone recommend good place to sell Apple laptops in UK.
Amazon - have to pay over £140 for my MBP 17 2010
Gumtree - too many spams and distance probs
ebay - hmm, never been good for items over £50 (maybe only me)
is there any thread in MR we can find or offer our old ones or any good place online

Thanks

There is a marketplace forum, but you cannot access that until you have reached 250 posts. Aside from that, I would still recommend something like craigslist. eBay usually works well for most, but you do have to pay around 10+% in fees.

eBay is decent, but you need to be careful. Make sure to set security measures like confirmed addresses, or feedback scores, etc.

I sold my previous MBP, iPad, iPod touch, AirPort Extreme base station, Apple TV2 and many other items on Craigslist. That's the route I'd be going.
