hypothetically, if a future iphone firmware update comes out and i want to get it, i would download it from the web then option-> resstore from within itunes.

when it says would you like to set this up as a new phone or restore from backup IF i choose not to restore from backup, how do i activate the phone and link it to my existing att account?
