I've got a rogue user account that somehow keeps modifying permissions on folders so IT has R&W, and everybody else has "no access". I demoted the rogue from admin to standard. Permissions are still being modified somehow. There's nobody using the account, and it's MY OWN throwaway I created. Nobody else has computer access. Nobody else knows password. Not sure how permissions are being changed when it's not even logged in.

What happens if I just delete the account outright? Is folder access lost forever? I don't care about folders within the rogue account. I'm worried about shared storage, or other users' folders that it somehow modified.
