If I download a music app...

    If I download a music app for my iPhone to download my music does it still take up space?​

    If I download a app such as "Free Music Download" and I download a song will it take up space in my phone even tho it's in the app?

    If you are downloading the song to your phone, yes it takes up space. If you are adding it to a playlist in the app to stream, then no.

    Yes it will, if you actually download the song, it will use space in the "Documents and Data" of an app.

    If streaming, it will use data but won't take up space.

    And piracy is against forum rules, BTW.

    Oh no. It's like free soundcloud songs. Nothing illegal.​

    Ah, ok.

    Well, to answer your question.

    1. If you actually download the song to your device, it will use space.

    2. If you stream it, it will use your data connection.
