If I encrypt an external drive, can I access it in boot camp Windows 7?

I got a micro SD card today and I want to encrypt it. I know how to do it Mac but when I want to access it in windows how does that work? 😕

You would have to encrypt it using a third party program that has a mac and pc version.

That's right because you're using an OSX technology to encrypt the SD card, which Windows does not know how to read. I'd use a open source encryption that is compatible to both, i.e., say gnupgp
