If I encrypt my Western Digital on Mac, how do I access it on Windows boot camp?

I encrypted my external drive on Mac, but it doesn't show up on Windows boot camp 😡

If the external drive is encrypted and has a HFS+ partition (like Mac OS Extended journaled), Windows may not be able to see it.

The encryption schemes for Windows and OS X are different, and incompatible.

If you want cross-platform compatibility, consider using VeraCrypt instead.
