I assume home or professional will work, just not be able to take advantage of 64 bit... correct?
 
Both will run.

Not to mention that there is no way in hell the Merom MBP will support more than 4GB of RAM… 🙄

EDIT: According to this someone has got x64 XP to run.

Okay. I was just worried that somehow knowing Microsoft they would require a 64 bit OS to run on a 64 bit chip.
