S Skydivincoastie macrumors member May 7, 2011 #2 no issues....4.3.3 can be jailbroken untethered via redsn0w
I Inkllicious macrumors regular May 7, 2011 #3 Personally black. Jailbreak issues depend on the firmware it comes with. And as for tethered/untethered.. Who really wants to use a PC to turn on their phone every reboot? Untethered is better.

MaxBurn macrumors 68000 May 7, 2011 #5 The current firmware 4.3.3 has an untethered jailbreak. Feel free to buy, it will likely come with 4.3.1 or 4.3.2. All have untethered jailbreaks.

W Wowzera macrumors 6502a May 8, 2011 #10 What's the problem in having 4.2.6 or any other old firmware? Just update to 4.3.3 or the latest verizon firmware and jailbreak with the current tools. 4.2.8 and 4.3.3 (latest iOS by now) are jailbreakable.
