And I was running Win11, would the M4 AI specific capabilities be available to me say with CoPilot or ChatGPT, or would that only work with MacOS and Apple AI? Thanks, Dave

Copy that, thanks. True for ChatGPT also?
You can use ChatGPT just fine in macOS, you don't need Windows for it. I think I don't understand your initial question. The virtual machine won't get any specific optimizations from the host CPU, though, if that's what you mean.

I think I do not understand my initial question :) I am trying like heck to keep up with all this AI stuff. I understand that the M4 chip has an NPU that assists with processing of AI. I may be wrong here. I currently have a SER9 AMD "AI ready" mini computer I am trying out. I KNOW that Win11 will use the new "AI function" if and when required.

I am asking if I send back the SER9 AMD mini computer and get a Mac Mini M4 and run Win11 in Parallel's will Win11 be able to access the "AI functions" of the M4 chip if and when necessary, or will it be hobbled/cancelled because I am using Parallels/Win11?

I hope this is more clear. I must admit I am a bit overwhelmed at how fast things are changing. AI is like HUGE!
