No, the GM is what the rest of the public will get on the 18th.

no. GM stands for Golden Master and is likely to be the same as the public release. There is no expiry date on the GM either.

Yes, the GM is the public release, just released earlier to developers. It is the same thing and works in the same way.

I've had issues with this before in the past and had to restore via iTunes as i couldn't get the OTA updates on my GM version so here's hoping this doesn't happen me again

GM is the same thing the new phones are imaged with for day one release. Public release may have a different build number but generally they don't change. I think that only happened with iOS 4.

If you are using the beta, I didn't think the release of iOS 7 would be pushed to you OTA (over the air)? I think you have to install it via iTunes.

I am aware. I think you can jump from iOS 7 beta 6 to final release next week without installing GM, maybe someone can clarify this.

You can, just not via OTA.
